Peter Watkin - Head of Conveyancing FCILEx

Peter is a Chartered Legal Executive and CILEx Conveyancing Practitioner and heads up our Conveyancing Team. Since qualifying in 1981, Peter has enjoyed a varied career working for both small and large legal practices and local authorities. He originally trained as a litigator but has been exclusively engaged in conveyancing work for more than 20 years in the counties of Somerset, Devon and Dorset as well as the cities of Exeter and Bristol.
Peter is experienced in all types of residential conveyancing work including equity release, deeds of variation, new builds, grant and release of easements and unusual and complicated transactions.
Peter has a particular interest in leasehold developments having acted for both Landlord and Tenant in Leasehold Extensions, for developers wanting to set up a development scheme, for management companies and of course for buyers and sellers of leasehold properties.

When away from the office Peter can be spotted being taken for a walk by his dog, Maisie or polishing his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Louise Webber - Property Executive

Louise is a Property Executive specialising in all types of residential property transactions, including sales and purchases of both freehold and leasehold properties, registered and unregistered land, transfers of equity and re-mortgages.
Louise’s legal career began in 2002 as a Conveyancing Assistant and shortly thereafter she qualified as a Paralegal in Conveyancing, her preferred area of law. Louise developed her role during 2016, working and developing her own caseload.
With 18 years’ experience in conveyancing, Louise prides herself on being friendly, approachable and efficient in providing updates to all parties and in providing advice and guidance to ensure your transaction proceeds as hassle-free as possible. Louise understands that moving home can be the most exciting of times or equally when transferring property following a divorce, can often be a stressful time and therefore getting to know her clients' individual requirements is paramount to the service she provides.
In her spare time Louise enjoys spending time with her husband and being a taxi service to her sport enthusiast children!
Gemma Lawson - Property Executive

Gemma is a Property Executive in our Conveyancing Department. Gemma specialises in all types of residential property transactions, including Freehold and Leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, Help to Buy ISAs and Transfers of Equity.
Gemma’s legal career began in 2001 when she joined a local Law Firm as an Office Junior. Her interest in property quickly saw her move into the Residential Department and progress to Legal Secretary. After gaining valuable experience from working alongside a senior member of the Team, Gemma then proceeded to qualify as a Paralegal in 2009 through the University of the West of England and commenced the running of her own case load.
Gemma appreciates the stressful nature of a conveyancing transaction and prides herself in being efficient and supportive to both clients and other parties involved in the transaction in order to make the process as stress-free and comprehensible as possible. Gemma is always happy to meet with clients in person and talk through any queries face to face, via the telephone or by e-mail.
Having worked in Exeter for the last 12 years Gemma has good relations with local Estate Agents and Mortgage Brokers whom assist in the smooth running of a transaction.
Outside of work Gemma enjoys being a part of her local running club and spending time with her young family.
Jodie Everard - Property Executive (ACILEx)

Jodie is a Property Executive in our Conveyancing Department. Jodie specialises in all types of residential property transactions, including sales and purchases of both freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages and transfers of equity. Jodie also has experience in dealing with schemes such as Help to Buy.
Jodie has worked in Conveyancing since leaving college and began her career as a Legal Technician at a small independent Law Firm in the South West in 2013. Jodie is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and is currently studying Criminal Law and is undertaking her Legal Research Skills coursework as the final modules of the Level 6 Diploma in Law and Practice with a view to achieving Fellowship status.
Outside of the office Jodie enjoys cooking, socialising with friends and travelling to new places.
Monika Biliute-Buckland - Conveyancing Assistant (ACILEx)

Monika joined the Conveyancing Team in Autumn 2018. She comes originally from Lithuania where she studied and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in English. She has made Exeter her home for the last 14 years and decided to change her career path and pursue Law. She hopes her career at Rundlewalker will continue to develop further. Monika has recently passed her fourth and fifth Level 3 CILEx exams and is continuing with her studies to attain Level 6. Monika is now an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
Monika provides support to the Conveyancing Department alongside administration duties where she assists with drafting contracts and transfers, conducting Stamp Duty returns, issuing registrations and searches as well as communicating with clients, solicitors and estate agents.
Monika can be contacted regarding messages and updates on matters within the Conveyancing Department.
She has a young daughter and loves spending time together, enjoying fun days out and seeing friends.
Hannah Williams - Conveyancing Assistant

Hannah joined the Conveyancing Team in 2018 following nine years working for an Exeter Estate Agency firm. During that time, she developed a keen interest in the legal aspects of conveyancing and therefore decided to make a career change, bringing her considerable experience and high standards of customer service to our team.
Hannah provides support in the Conveyancing Department and has now attained her Level 4 Diploma in Conveyancing Law and Practice. She will shortly be commencing the Level 6 Diploma as a Trainee Licensed Conveyancer and hopes to become a fully qualified Licensed Conveyancer and Property Lawyer within the next few years.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Taniah Roberts - Legal Cashier

Taniah joined Rundlewalker as a Legal Cashier in July 2021 having worked in the financial services world for over 30 years. Taniah will be supporting the Conveyancing Team with client financial transactions, ensuring the smooth process of your conveyancing requirements.
Outside work, Taniah enjoys spending quality time with her family, socialising with her friends and reading.
