Gemma Lawson - Conveyancing Technician

Gemma is a Conveyancing Technician in our Residential Conveyancing Team. Gemma specialises in various types of residential property transactions, including Freehold and Leasehold sales, re-mortgages and Transfers of Equity.

Gemma’s legal career began in 2001 when she joined a local Law Firm as an Office Junior. Her interest in property quickly saw her move into the Residential Department and progress to Legal Secretary. After gaining valuable experience from working alongside a senior member of the Team, Gemma then proceeded to qualify as a Paralegal in 2009 through the University of the West of England. Gemma returned to studying at the beginning of 2024 and has now qualified as a Conveyancing Technician under the CLC Level 4 Diploma in Conveyancing Law and Practice.

Gemma appreciates the stressful nature of a conveyancing transaction and prides herself in being efficient and supportive to both clients and other parties involved in the transaction in order to make the process as stress-free and comprehensible as possible. Gemma is always happy to meet with clients in person and talk through any queries face to face, via the telephone or by e-mail.

Outside of work Gemma enjoys spending time with her young family, running and lots of country walks with her dog.
