Jodie Everard Promoted to Director, Rundlewalker Solicitors ExeterRundlewalker Solicitors is delighted to announce the promotion of Jodie Everard, Head of Residential Conveyancing, to the position of Director, effective 1st May 2026. At just 31, Jodie becomes one of the youngest directors in the firm’s history, reflecting her exceptional contribution, leadership and commitment to the continued success of the business.

A Rapid Rise Built on Dedication and Professional Excellence.
Jodie joined Rundlewalker in December 2020 as a Conveyancer during the height of the Covid 19 pandemic, working predominantly from home while quickly establishing herself as a highly capable and dependable member of the team. Her talent and work ethic saw her appointed Head of Residential Conveyancing in January 2023, taking responsibility for what is now the largest department in the firm.

Alongside her departmental leadership, Jodie has continued to progress academically and professionally. She qualified as a CILEX Conveyancing Practitioner in May 2024, followed by her qualification as a Chartered Legal Executive in October 2025, completing several years of intensive study while maintaining consistently high billing and managing a busy caseload.

Her legal career began at the age of 18, joining a South-West law firm straight from college. She has remained in the profession ever since, building a reputation for technical skill, approachability and a client centred approach that has become a hallmark of her work.

Key Achievements and Impact at Rundlewalker.
In her time with the firm, Jodie has:

  • Led and developed the Residential Conveyancing Department, now the largest within Rundlewalker.
  • Played a significant role in maintaining the firm’s CQS and Lexcel accreditations, working closely with senior colleagues to ensure compliance and best practice.
  • Managed Lender Exchange and LMS, ensuring the firm remains on essential lender panels - a critical component of the conveyancing service.
  • Delivered consistently high billing, contributing directly to the firm’s financial performance.
  • Supported departmental growth, including the recruitment of new fee earners and the current initiative to appoint a new apprentice to strengthen the team’s future.

Her leadership style is grounded in strong people skills, a collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to the long term success and evolution of the business.

A Message from the Managing Director & CEO.
Managing Director & CEO Nick Dudman shared the following announcement with staff:
“I am delighted to announce that, with effect from the start of our new trading year on 1st May, Jodie Everard will join the Company Board as a Director.

Jodie’s elevation is well deserved and is recognition of her continued devotion to the firm, her management of the Conveyancing Team as Head of Department for the last couple of years, her fee earning performance and, not least, the way she conducts herself among us. A lot of boxes ticked!

I am sure you will all join me in congratulating Jodie on her achievement which also comes after a few hard years of study to achieve her full CILEX qualification.”

Jodie’s Reflections on the Promotion.
Speaking about her appointment, Jodie said:
“Rundlewalker has a genuine family feel - we look out for one another, and that sense of support runs through every part of the firm. Our size means we can offer clients a truly personal and accessible service, and that is something I am very proud to be part of.

Nick has always encouraged staff loyalty and progression, and I am grateful for the opportunities he has created for younger and junior members of the team. His approach nurtures talent and rewards commitment, and I hope to continue that ethos within the conveyancing department and across the firm.

I am looking forward to contributing at Board level and providing a strong voice for the conveyancing team as we continue to grow and evolve.”

Looking Ahead.
As a Director, Jodie will play an active role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction, supporting operational decision making and representing the interests of the conveyancing department at senior level. Her appointment strengthens the leadership team and reflects Rundlewalker’s commitment to recognising and promoting talent from within.

We warmly congratulate Jodie on her well deserved promotion and look forward to her continued contribution to the firm’s future.
