Injury Awareness Week 2026 Takes Place Between 22 - 26 June.

Rundlewalker is proud to support Injury Awareness Week 2026, organised by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), which this year runs from 22 to 26 June 2026.

The annual campaign aims to raise awareness of the devastating impact that needless injuries caused by negligence can have on individuals and their families, while also highlighting the importance of justice, rehabilitation, and support for injured people.

What is Injury Awareness Week?
Injury Awareness Week is APIL’s national awareness campaign designed to shine a light on the prevalence of avoidable injuries and the effect they can have on victims of negligence. The campaign also seeks to educate the public on the important distinction between genuine accidents which could not have been prevented, and injuries caused by carelessness or negligence which should never have happened.

APIL reports that at least half a million people in Britain suffer needless injuries every year because of someone else’s negligence. These incidents can result in significant physical, emotional and financial consequences for injured people and their loved ones.

Some injuries are life-changing, affecting a person’s ability to work, care for themselves, or maintain their independence. Even injuries from which a person may eventually recover can still have a profound impact on day-to-day life, mental wellbeing, family relationships and financial security.
