Specifically, the role requires membership of the Children Panel (or a willingness and determination to achieve panel membership within a couple of years of joining) and a full understanding of the supervisory role undertaken for work financed by the Legal Aid Agency. The role offers beginning to end case management of own caseload within the Family Department.
A strong record of service delivery and client relationship management, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to inspire confidence and respect among colleagues and clients is also required.
The Firm is offering a very competitive salary dependent on experience, and we consider we are unique in terms of our flexibility and positive work ethic. Our open and energetic approach to our business is appreciated not just by our clients, but by our staff too. We have light, modern offices based on the Quayside in central Exeter, with access to the river, cafes, restaurants and the relaxed shopping atmosphere of the Quay. The Cathedral and city-centre shopping are a short and easy stroll away.
We are progressive, family friendly and flexible, and aim to attract talented lawyers who are looking for a good work/life balance in a small but growing firm with excellent prospects for career development. Full or part-time hours can be offered, with a WFH element.
