Rundlewalker Solicitors support Mental Health Awareness Week 2026.

mental health awareness week ukRundlewalker Solicitors are pleased to confirm our continued support for Mental Health Awareness Week, taking place this year from 11 to 17 May 2026.

This annual campaign, led by the Mental Health Foundation, is one of the UK’s most important opportunities to raise awareness, challenge stigma and encourage open conversations about mental health across our communities, workplaces and beyond.

This year’s theme: “Take Action.”
The theme for 2026 is “Take Action”, highlighting the importance of moving beyond awareness and taking meaningful steps to support mental wellbeing.

While progress has been made in recent years, there is still much to be done. The campaign emphasises that even small, positive actions can make a real difference - whether that is improving our own wellbeing, supporting a colleague, or contributing to wider cultural change.

The focus is on three key areas:

  • For yourself - taking simple steps to protect and improve your own mental health
  • For others - supporting friends, family and colleagues
  • For all of us - encouraging organisations and decision-makers to prioritise mental health

Why it matters.
Mental health continues to affect a significant proportion of the UK population, with common conditions such as anxiety and depression impacting many individuals and their families.

Campaigns like Mental Health Awareness Week play a vital role in:

  • encouraging people to seek support
  • reducing stigma around mental health challenges
  • promoting healthier, more supportive workplaces

At Rundlewalker Solicitors, we recognise that the legal profession can be demanding and that maintaining good mental health is essential for both personal wellbeing and professional effectiveness.

Our commitment.
We are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive working environment in which our team feel able to speak openly about mental health and access support when needed.

During Mental Health Awareness Week, we will be encouraging our colleagues to take positive action - whether that is checking in with one another, taking time to focus on wellbeing, or participating in awareness activities such as “Wear it Green Day.”

We also recognise that supporting mental health is not limited to one week each year. It is an ongoing priority, and we will continue to promote initiatives and conversations that contribute to a healthier workplace culture throughout the year.

Taking action together.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, we encourage everyone - clients, colleagues and our wider community - to consider what small action they can take. Whether it is reaching out to someone, making time for yourself, or simply starting a conversation, every action counts.

If you would like to learn more about the campaign or access resources, please visit the Mental Health Foundation or Mental Health UK websites.

Together, we can help create a culture where mental health is understood, supported and prioritised.
